My name is Sofia Pantazopoulos, and I’ve been in the permanent makeup industry for six years.

I grew up in Boston and finished high school through night school. Sitting still in a classroom never came easily — working with my hands always did.

At 19 I moved to Los Angeles and took a 5-day microblading course at Neihule Beauty Academy in my first week there. Permanent makeup clicked immediately. It’s a hands-on craft that keeps advancing, and it rewarded the way my brain actually works.

In 2021 I enrolled in an esthetician program at Neihule — I wanted real skin-anatomy fluency, not just technique. A year later, in May 2022, I opened FYSTYBROWZ. The practice has been bicoastal for the last two years: Walpole is home base, LA is travel weeks.

I’m a natural-born artist, and working in the cosmetic tattoo industry gives me the creative freedom I crave.

My business is built on creating a comfortable environment for my clients and for myself. I’m grateful to work in an industry that promotes confidence and a sense of independence.
